  • What make CelsiusFOOD systems different to microwave ovens?

CelsiusFOOD systems use direct conduction heat transfer for browning, colour, texture and taste. They are heated by thermal fluid or electricity. All CelsiusFOOD systems replicates genuine cooking methods. Our systems use a minimum of energy, they are easy to maintain with no need for special technical skills.

  • What advantages does CelsiusFOOD have over hot air and steam cookers?

We heat food products eighter by direct contact or broiling in static air. Forced and heated air (i.e., a hairdryer) dehydrate products, using added steam to compensate for the weight loss. Broiling in static air does not require steam.

  • How do you clean Teflon belts?

PTFE conveyor belts are automatically cleaned by the equipment when the cooking system is operational.

  • I’m not sure about my future production capacity, what can we do?

All CelsiusFOOD cooking systems are made up of linear modules. The more linear modules after another, the higher throughput. Linear modules can be added to an existing system when higher capacity is needed. Invest in the production capacity you need.

  • We need to produce more, can we extend our CelsiusFOOD system?

Yes you can. We can add linear modules to your existing oven system.

  • How many kg/h can I produce?

It depends on the product and the size of the cooking system. CelsiusFOOD manufacture smaller continues cooking machines and larger linear systems for 50 kg (100 lbs) to over 4000 kg (9000 lbs) per hour and any size between.

  • Why should I pre-cool my products before preservation?

Modules containing ConCool technology are integrated at the end of a cooking system to reduce the high product temperature before the cooling equipment. Lower temperature reduce leakage, evaporation and lessen formation of snow and ice in cooling equipment.

  • How do you heat the heating plates?

Eighter by electricity or thermal fluid (thermal oil).

  • What is the material of heating plates?

CelsiusFOOD heating plates are made of solid stainless steel with conductors and heating coils inside.

Linear modules are assembled one after another. The number of linear modules used defines the length and the capacity of the system. CelsiusFOOD modular design allow linear modules with different thermal properties to be combined for a specific purpose or process.

  • Why does CelsiusFOOD use modular systems?

Modular cooking systems can be extended in the future when greater throughput is needed. They can combine different thermal technologies in one system, i.e., searing, browning, equilibration or cooling food products inline.

  • How can I benefit from combining 2 ovens in one?

Many thicker products, like chicken breasts and thicker patties expands as they heat through. These types of products are first seared and browned shortly between two cooking belts. The two cooking belts reduce the product thickness and rapidly force heat into the products. The searing step is seamlessly followed by a second cooking step where products heat through.
